OUR MISSION
We are a movement with progressive values with the vision of electing progressive members of the community to the City Council and Mayor's Office.
We seek to stop the mass incarceration of youth, to stop the killing of Black and Brown peoples by LAPD, to fund more public education, and to stop gentrification that has already displaced thousands of families. We understand that #BlackLivesMatter, that we must engage the systems of oppression at all levels including local city politics where most of the injustices happen.
We seek an economy that works for everyone and not just the handful of millionaires. We understand that this won't come about unless the people rise up and demand a better city government. Our goals include engaging more young people into the political process, increasing voter turnout, and taking on the city establishment. We are a movement with progressive values with the vision of electing progressive members of the community to the City Council and Mayor's Office in the 2017 election.
